Corning® Closed System Cell Culture Flask sizes 75 cm2  

The growth surface of each flask is tissue culture treated (TC-treated).

The cap is comprised of 2 external ports:

1. 24” of 1/8” x 1/4“ weldable TPE tubing terminating in capped female Luer connector.  Internally this port is connected to a polypropylene diptube that reaches the bottom corner of the flask.

2. 2” of TPE tubing connected to a 0.2 µm filter for active gas exchange

Each flask has 2 additional 0.2 µm vents integral to the cap surface for passive gas exchange during cell culture.

Corning's enhanced T-75 Flask features a U-shaped design, which improves usability while maintaining the same environment for cell growth as previous designs. The U-shaped T-75 flask includes design advances, such as rounded shoulders, which allow for an easier grip and for better access when removing or tightening the cap. The new ergonomic shape also reduces the number of corners, improves cell scraping, and provides the option to use a larger pipet (up to 50 mL).

Short, wide and angled neck design enables easy access of serological pipettes and cell scrapers. Flasks are divided into 6 types, depending on the culture scale and the cap type. Cell growth area for T25, T75, T175 and T225 are 25 cm², 75 cm², 175 cm² and 225 cm², respectively. Each flask can be provided with plug or filter caps.
